Lisa DeRensis
Consultant and Coach
During her early career, Lisa gained a broad range of experience in business management, business development and marketing, event management and teaching. She has particular expertise in the fields of design and professional service firms including architecture and interior design, graphic design, internet and web development, media and legal. She also has worked with numerous non-profits administering cultural and educational programs and organizing fundraising events. She was a founding board member of three different non-profit organizations. In 1995, Lisa began working in training and development and coaching. She has trained and coached hundreds of people in areas of communication, team-building, project management, leadership, productivity and performance, and customer service. She has delivered programs in design firms, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions and insurance companies. In addition, she has worked with a number of small businesses owners and entrepreneurs.
Lisa is also a Visual Artist, Theater Artist and Storyteller. She has performed in an unusual array of venues from schools, community centers and on beaches to Off Broadway theaters and Carnegie Hall. As a glass artist, she recently had a one-woman exhibition of her work. She enjoys working with young people in educational and cultural activities. As an Artist-in-Education, she has developed and delivered highly integrated arts programs as a tool for the development of literacy.
This eclectic background provides a rich source of knowledge, expertise, creative and open-minded thinking. She is committed to providing the highest degree of value to her clients. Lisa has a Bachelors degree from Brown University and a Masters degree from New York University. She is a graduate of Coach U’s Advanced Training Program as well as completed numerous programs at Landmark Education.
