Edina Country Club
We have just invested in a training program designed specifically for our management team at Edina Country Club.. The facilitator was Ms. Annette Nathan of Mark Kamin and Associates Inc. We have been extremely impressed and feel it has been most worthwhile. She would be a great, unique and new addition to the roster of speakers at the Club Manager Assistants conference held in Minneapolis in 2008. A segment of their program is called “The Manager's Edge". Some of the key distinctions that the managers will master in this program include:
- Being an effective coach by speaking and listening in ways that produce action and results
- Managing conversations rather than attempting to manage people
- Being account;abl3e for one's own results and for producing results through others
- Responsiblity as a context or a place to come from rather than blame, fault or burden
- Eliminating overwhelm
- Managing up and training others to Manage Up
- Thinking and acting as an Executive
- Having an empowering relationship withone's enterprise
